I was born in our nation’s capital. My education in life took me to Montreal, Calgary, Phoenix, Arizona, and London, UK.

With 2 older sisters, I gained a great deal of respect for the opposite sex. I also learned how to run real fast after practical jokes gone awry. My mother Patricia and my late father Gilbert taught us all humour, fair play and provided a warm, loving home.

Who knew all that would be one day put to the test with an illness in the family. Mine.
